Homemade Pizza
As promised in my previous post, I am going to share with you the recipe and method that I follow to make Pizza🍕😋
Ingredients:
I must admit that for easiness I do use a pre-rolled pizza base rather than making the dough from scratch. You can buy these at most supermarkets and the one that I got from Aldi cost only 89p😮!
For the tomato base I mix together, 200g passata🍅, 1 shake of dried basil🌿, ½ teaspoon chilli purée🌶, 1 teaspoon garlic purée & 2 teaspoon tomato purée🍅.
I wanted my pizza to be super cheesy, so I opted for a ball of mozzarella and 250g grated mozzarella. Finally for my toppings, I chose slices of spicy pepperoni & chorizo.
Method:
The first step begins with preheating the oven to 200 degrees and rolling out the pizza base onto the surface.
After doing so, take each of the ingredients mentioned above for the tomato sauce and mix together in a bowl.

Using a table spoon, lather the tomato sauce onto the pizza base. Using circular motions ensure that it is spread around the base, leaving the perimeter bare if you like the crust.
Following this I added 200g of pre-grated mozzarella cheese and 10 slices of
pepperoni / chorizo slices...
I then added another 50g of grated mozzarella🧀 followed by chunks of mozzarella ball🧀 (when it comes to pizza, the cheesier the better😍) and another shake of dried basil before popping it into the oven.
Leave the pizza to bake on the middle shelf of the oven for 20 minutes⏲ and enjoy a nice glass of wine🍷while you wait⏳⌛.
Now for the best bit...

When all of the cheese has melted and some bits have turned slightly golden brown, remove the pizza from the oven, slice up and enjoy🍕🍕🍕🍕
Review:
I was very happy with how the pizza turned out😀 especially considering easy method✅ low cost ingredients💷 and of course the lack of tidying up😏
See you in the next blog for another easy tasty eat 😀
😙✌
